Hi,
Anyone can help me?
I brought a new compaq macine(with sp2) three month using fine DSL(100mbps).
It was very fast. But recently it become incredible slow which takes 30" -
50" to show a linked page. I did following things: delete cookies,
temperate files and history; defrag the hard disk; disable popup blocker of
browser; turn off firewall and anti virus program. scan virus using Notron;
scan macine with Ad-ware SE personal and Spybot S&D. The speed is not
improved. I also scaned with Hijackthis. It show the result immediately.
Is it right? Don't know how to handle the result.

This is real torture. Anyone can help me it'll be really appreciated.
Thank you in advance!

Hi Mei :)

Let's take this a step at a time, and we'll get you back on track. :)

First, it is important that you post your HiJackThis log to one of the two
forums below and let the experts there review it and tell you what you need
to do to clean your machine if necessary. They will also advise you on what
you need to do to regain connnection with the Internet.

Please be aware that there are some variants of malware that can replicate
themselves repeatedly and continue to return until they are properly
cleaned. That is why it is very important that you have your HiJackThis log
examined by an expert who can tell you exactly what you need to do to fully
clean your system.
