Very Slow Boot in WIN2K-SP4

J

Jay Somerset

Approximately 2-3 weeks ago, my laptop started to boot VERY, VERY slowly --
taking 6-10 minutes instead of the usual 2. Probably started after updating
with critical security patches released in mid-September.

Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know what might have caused it?

TIA
Jay
