very large screen icons

Can someone tell me how to change the resolution f my
monior ( a NEC MultiSync LCD1550V) as all the writing and
icons are very large.

To change the resolution of your video card, right click anywhere on the
desktop, click properties then settings.
 
Hi,

Right click your desktop and then go to Properties

This will bring up your Display properties.

Now click on the Settings tab, and then you will see a slider called Screen
Resolution, move the slider to the right and choose the resolution that you
want. Then hit Apply or OK.
