Hi, this is my first post here. I have a problem, he is my cousin.
He came over during a party and spent some time alone with my laptop
computer. He is very computer savy, but not a very nice person. So
now I am afraid he has somehow gained access to my email account, like
he can read all of my mail from his computer. He comments on
transactions I have made, and should only be known to me. Is this
possible? He had his own CD's with him, so he could have loaded
anything to this laptop. If so, how do I find out what he has done
and how do I get rid of this problem? Thank you very much for any
advice. dan ps, all I can think of is to cancel my email account and
start anew.
It only can happen if He installed a Keyloger on your Laptop?.
Do you have An Anti-Virus with Firewall?, scan your system then set the
Firewall to alert you about every application trying to access the Internet
and you will see if there is such a program tracking your Keyboard Stroke.
Click Start >. Control panel >> Add/Remove Programs and check for the
Programs List there, if there is a strange name and you can search the net
for it and its use on your system.
Read the links below and try the manual removal if you found any thing:
