vertical sync

I play counter strike 1.6 on steam but my fps is slow.... Ive been advised
to turn my verticl sync (v sync) off but dont know how to.... My video card
is "S3 prosavage km133(tm)" Thanx in advance

Hi Blu gun,

Onboard video is meant for applications. If you want to use your
rig for gaming *and* want to get good FPS, invest in a video card.

I realise this sounds like an easy answer, however it's the truth.
