Vertical Property on Text Box

S

Seth Schwarm

Access XP

Access 2000 File format.

I have added a text box to a form and want to show the
text vetically.

I have tried it bound, unbound; nothing shows in form
view when Vertical = Yes. I can flip Vertical to No and
the text displays in form view.

Even in design view the control name doesn't show in the
text box, but when I change it to Vertical = No, the
control name shows.

What is going on here? In all my books and the Access
help files say you just set Vertical = Yes and the world
is happy.

Thanks,

Seth

I just tried to do this in Access 2000 / Windows 2000 and had no problems

I'm wondering if you resized the text box in Design Mode once you set Vertical to YES. That's what I had to do
