Vertical Centering

R

Ron

I'm using FP2000. I'm trying to create a Splash page that contains a
single-cell table to be centered horizontally and vertically within the
browser window. I figured out the horizontal part <G>. Is it possible to
also center the table vertically, regardless of screen resolution? Thanks
for your help,
Ron

I have done this by nesting the table in a table set to 100% width and height.

Thanks for the quick feedback. It worked great for my needs, so I'm gonna
risk it without a doctype.

What you get without a doctype is browsers rendering the page in quirks
mode. If you can tolerate the differences browser-to-browser, and
platform-to-platform, then go for it....

It is possible to do this with a valid and complete doctype, but it's a bit
of a kludge. I simply don't use vertical centering as a result.

Yea, I have been dropped from a few list in my time!
