version 9 player resizes video (MPEG1) from 352x240 to
312x240.

Q. Is there a fix/solution to this resizing problem.

WMP9 does not resize video. Suggest you change it to show video at 100% and
to fit player to video.

The file was capured at 352x240 and plays at the correct
aspect ratio on other computers running win98 and/or NT --
detail properties shows it is a 352x240; however, the
(detail properties) on the XP playing the same file shows
312x240. A site to see...'player to video' setting, as
you suggested did not work. The problem showed the same
aspect ratio problem on co-worker's box.
