Verifying the use of a template

Hi,

I need to find out whether you can determine which
template a particular spreadsheet was created from. Any
ideas?

Once you create the new workbook based on a template, there's no connection back
to it.

Maybe you could cheat--use a hidden name or put something unique in a cell that
completely identifies the source of the template.

But those could be lost by anyone who had enough gumption to look for them.
 
Or you could put the version information in one of the Summary or Custom
properties (File>Properties). But that's not gumption proof either.
