Verifying installation of SP2

Hi all,

I run Windows XP and try to keep track of updates etc. I am told that
SP2 includes the security center icon and it is placed in the control
panel. However, I can't find the icon, yet when I go to windows update
it does not state that I lack SP2. Also, MS genuine update whatever
keeps telling me I don't have SP2, but Windows update doesn't recognize
this when I click on the genuine icon. How can I verify that it is
installed, and if it is not, manually install it (other than ordering
the CD from Microsoft)?

Click on Start/Control Panel and then double click on the System Icon, check
the General Tab.
