verifying fax number

I changed outlook 2000 to include the country code, but my Winfax SE still
asked to verify the fax number. I want to avoid having to verify each and
every number for the faxes I send. So I can send several recipients and walk
away without having to "OK" each one.
Any suggestions?

Unlikely. If your fax numbers are stored correctly in canonical
(international) format, you will not get the verification prompt.

Example: 800-555-1234 is the number, and also how I've added to my contact.
How would you enter it in "canonical" format??

Add the country code, of course. You said you had done that.
I've explained it all here:
