Hi,
I'm having a problem with my system, I beleive it is hard drive releated
where the system will just restart as if I pressed the reset button. No
errors in the logs.

I'd like to know if I can verify the sytem files so if there was a corrupt
disk sector I can verify and replace the system file. Any tools that would
do it? Thanks.

The last time I had this problem, I had to replace the memory in my
computer.

Hi, You can use the System File Checker. Goto Start>>Run>>Type "sfc
/scannow"

Pat,
Yea I don't think it is the hard drives, my first thought was the processor
is dying. The PC is a P3 800mHz with 100mHz FSB so it is old, probably 5 or
6 years. That was an upgrade from the PII 450 that the machine originally
used. The drives are a SCSI RAID 0, so that is always suspect too but just
not for that type of error. Overall the performance for my needs is ok,
just want six months more life out of it so I can get a Prescott with
PCI-Express!

Sounds like exactly what I wanted thanks.
