Verbose boot screen

Does anyone know how to get rid of the boot screen? I would like to see a
verbose display of what is happening during boot, until the sign-in screen
appears.
 
Yes, run msconfig and under the boot tab put a check in the box labelled "OS
Boot Information. Vista will now display drivers and files as they are being
loaded at startup.
