VCR\DVD into monitor

F

format

I want to play my VCR and\or DVD player through my monitor at full screen
just like viewing on a TV. Will an ATI card do this? If so, which one? Do I
need one with RCA jacks in video card or s-video and use an adapter to
convert to RCA to go into my VCR or DVD? I'm not a gamer so I don't need a
card for that purpose. Only for normal computer apps and to be able to view
my video devices through my monitor.
Have Athlon 3200+ processor, 1gig of ram 160 gig hard drive and an open APG
slot. Running Windows XP Home sp2.
Your help is appreciated. Thanks.

From ATI an All-In-Wonder, a VIVO (not currently made by ATI AFIK but there
are some third-party VIVO boards based on ATI chips), or a TV Wonder would
do what you want. Or you could spend 50 bucks or so on a non-ATI capture
board.

Thanks for your reply and help. I've heard of the All-In-Wonder and will
look into that.
