Does Windows Media Player support watching VCDs? I thought so but it can't read it when I insert a VCD. Any other steps I should take?

Try Media Player Classic at

If this doesn't play it, then it cannot be played! It's totally free, and
looks like the old Windows MediaPlayer 6.4 used to. I love it for DVD
playback.
