VCards showing info from Active Directory

When I create a VCard using the Signature Picker from my
personal contacts. It still brings information from our
Active Directory such as Home Phone number. This
information is not included on my personal contact.

Outlook version? How as the contact record created? What's the problem that
you're trying to solve?

It happens with Outlook 2000 or Outlook 2003. We use
Exchange 2000 native mode and Active Directory native
mode. When creating the contact record, I highlight
contacts, new , type my name, business phone and email
address ( I think this is where the problem is, because it
then changes it to my display name). When creating the
VCard, using the Signature Picker I refer the contact I
just created under Outlook Address Book -Contacts. When
you look at the information within the Vcard, it has a
little too much. Like my home address, home phone, etc.
This is the information from our Actitive Directory.
Whats happening?

Thank you,

Eric Donner

Got it. Definitely an unexpected result (call it broken) in Outlook 2000.
I'll test in Outlook 2003 as well, but I expect it's broken there, too. A
workaround is to use Outlook's normal File | Save As to replace the copy of
your personal vCard stored in the C:\Documents and
Settings\%username%\Application Data\Microsoft\Signatures folder.

I'll make sure Microsoft gets a report.
