vcard

I am working with Outlook 2003 SP3. I am trying to create a vCard to insert
into my signature block. As I go through the process, Outlook does not
create a vCard file. So I created one in another program but still Outlook
does not allow me to select the vCard to insert into the signature block.

Thanks for your help.

Did you create a record for yourself in your Contacts folder? That's where
Outlook 2003 looks for data to put in the signature vCard.

Thank you for your reponse. I really appreciate your help.

I am in the contacts database. Also, while creating my signature, I went
throught the process of attempting to create the vCard and expecting to see
it in the drop down but nothing happened. I searched the hard drive for it
and it is not there. I am perplexed.

I am perplexed, too, because I'm still looking for an answer to my earlier
question please: Did you create a record for yourself in your Contacts
folder? If not, Outlook does not have the information it needs to add a vCard
to your signature. You must create the contact *before* you create the
signature.

When you go into Tools | Options | Mail Format | Signatures, what happens if
you choose New vCard from Contact and select your contact record?
