vcard in outlook

I am trying to add a vcard to my MS Outlook--it's definitely not Outlook
express. It came packaged with Office 2003 from Dell. I have not been able to
add a vcard to my signature--Sometimes I get the mail format tab, sometimes I
do not get it--I get a tab that says General and a few others. Am I going
mad? By the way, I would like the vcard to contain different additional
information than my signature ie. my address and title. Is this possible?

Have you already created the vCard? Create a contact item for yourself, on
the File menu choose "Export as VCard". Save it to your hard drive, then
you can use it in a signature file.

Thanks Ben. I guess what I am trying to ask is: Is there a difference between
having a vcard and a signature? I would like to have my signature contain my
name, my company name and my phone number. I would like the vcard to be an
attachment that shows in addition to the above, my title and mailing address.
I know this was possible in Outlook Express, but I tried the method you
described and I am unsure as how to create the vcard and secondly, in the
file tab there is no option to export vcards. There is a tab to import
vcards, however.

A Vcard is an attachment, like a business card, that can contain
whatever contact info you specify. The recipient, using Outlook or
other compliant e-mail app, can open the attachment and save the info
into their address book/Contacts.

Open the Contact item you created and look on the file menu in the
contact item.
