VBA code to go to slide 1

Hello,
I have a PowerPoint presentation that mimics Jeopardy. I use it at the end
of training sessions. If someone picks a category for x dollars, I click on
that and it goes to the answer. Then, I have a button that I click on to
return to the first slide. Prior to that, I have code that deletes the
category that was picked from the first slide. But to do that, I have to go
out of the slideshow view. Is there a command to prevent screen updating
while I am doing that?

You don't have to go out of Slide Show Mode to do what you want. Show your
code and someone will pipe in with corrections. If you want to check out an
