I thought vb6 is not officially support in Vista already.

The runtime library is even shipped with Vista and thus still supported.
The IDE, on the other hand, works on Vista.

My findings are below but I could find nothing about Windows Server 2008,
hence my question.

Windows XP/Server 2003 Support:The VB6 runtime ships with Windows XP. This
means that the VB6 runtime is covered by the Windows XP support timeline.
This means that support for the VB6 runtime will last much longer than that
of the development environment which runs out on 08/04/08. Mainstream
support for Windows XP will end 2 years after Longhorn launches and extended
support will last for 5 years after that. (Expected June, 2013)

Windows Vista Support:

Visual Basic 6.0 runtime files are shipping as a part of the operating
system and will be supported for the lifetime of Windows Vista. The VB6
development environment will be supported until 08/04/08. Testing
recommended.

Windows Server 2008 (beta)

???? Unsure ???? From reading blogs on the web it will be supported but
removed in the release after this one. (Code named Blackcomb). I have
contacted an MS representative who doesn't know so have posted to a
newsgroup and will update you when I know more. (2 day MSDN newsgroup reply
guarantee!)
