One day I maximized the Project Explorer or something, and ever since then,
my VB editor window has been out of whack. You know how normally the Project
Explorer is on the left and the editor is on the right, with a divider
between them? Now it's either one or the other. The best I can seem to do
is tile them vertically and manually adjust their widths to look kind of
normal. What can I do to return this to normal?? Thanks.

Hi Cindy, thanks for responding.
What I mean by "one or the other" is that when I maximize either of them,
they take up the whole screen. They won't dock vertically like they used to
with the explorer taking up about a quarter of the screen on the left, and
the code window on the right. I end up having to stretch them out manually
into the correct positions. The Properties window seems to be fine; it pops
up as a small window that I can just move where I need it to be.

No, it isn't docked -- when I double-click it maximizes and takes up the
whole screen.

Also, I'm wondering why my name is showing up as "?Utf-8?B?S2FtcmFu?" in
this thread. I tried different encodings and none of them help (but anyway,
that's a secondary issue).

Yeah, it's really weird. The Properties window docks on the right when you
drag it over there, but the other ones just do their own thing. I still have
to position them manually. I try your suggestion with the Registry. Thanks
for your suggestions.

You'll be glad to know that did it!! Problem solved. Who would ever know?
(BTW, the registry key name is "Common" instead of "Command").
Thanks again.
