Hi Jay,

I saw I wrote "two programs", afterwards I saw that this example could be
understood wrong, that was not my intention to you. When the message came
from Herfried, I have tried to correct that as you hopely saw and did that
long before this message from you.

However, I think that with this message you give in my opinion more the
information Tim did wanted to see.

I installed SP 6 for VS 6 and then re-installed Code Advisor.
Problem persists.

Howard,
I've used the Code Advisor on a number of VB6 projects with great success!

Unforunately it installed clean for me, so there is little I have to offer
in getting your setup problem to work. Have you tried calling Microsoft
Support directly with your setup problem, seeing as no one in the newsgroups
have any assistance to offer?

Just a thought

Do not use the Code Advisor.
I, and at least one other individual, have posted threads about a common
error in the Code Advisor, and nobody responds.
So either Code Advisor does not work, or there is no support, or both.

Howard,
Unfortunately the best I can still offer you is to call Microsoft Support &
open a ticket, as the Code Advisor installed cleanly for me on both of my
machines. So I have no frame of reference to offer you assistance.

I have not yet installed VS6 SP6 yet. However seeing as Code Advisor is
currently installed & working I would expect it to continue to be installed
& working...

Hope this helps
Jay
