Varying row heights

Is there a way to quickly change the row heights in a
spreadsheet when not all of them are going to be the same
height? For instance, I need some of them to be at a
height of 51.00, while others need to be 18.00, etc. (I
have the text wrap option on, if that makes any
difference.)

Just wondering if there is a function for that?

Sarah,

It doesn't look like anyone else is going to take a stab
at answering your question, maybe because there may be
many ways to do this, so here goes my attempt.

If I were in your shoes, I would click on the Select All
button (that's the little gray button in the very upper
left corner of your spreadsheet, to the right of the
column letter "A" and above the row number "1"). I would
then set the row height to the height you need for the
majority of rows. This changes the row height for the
entire worksheet. Then select those rows you need to set
to the other row height. You can select more than one row
by holding down the Shift key, or if the rows are not side
by side, you can also hold down the Ctrl key and click
with your mouse to select non-adjacent rows. Once you
have selected all rows for which you need to make the
other height, you can go ahead and change the height for
all of those at the same time. Should be pretty quick.
And short of writing a macro based on some specific
criteria, I am not aware of any other quick function to do
what you are looking for. Text wrap will have no impact
on your row height unless you set the row height to
AutoFit.

Hope this helps,

Jerry
