AntiSpywere has found a file called vanqap.exe trying to
place it's self in my registry. I think it's bad.
Please help!

What are the circumstances? What does the alert say?

Can you find this file on your system, perhaps using the search command?

If so, please submit it here:

http://www.virustotal.com/flash/index_en.html

(see the browse box in the upper right)

If not--what were you doing when this alert occurred? Is your system up to
date with all critical patches offered by Windows Update? Do you have a
firewall or router on your Internet connection?

Yes searched my hard drive and I have found it. Then
renamed it to vanqap.exe.virus.

The message said it was trying to add itself to the
startup part of my registry.

Did you get any results back from Virustotal? That's worth submitting
to--Among other things, it'll show you which products are targetting spyware
and which are not.
