Vanishing taskbar

I am trying to get a virus off of my boss' computer, but he has the taskbar
hidden and I can't get it to come up to savfe my life(or job). I have tried
to lift it with the dbl pointed cursor, I have tried to open it with a
shortcut. Please help Thanks, Jeff

Have you run the cursor to the very edge (or off) of the screen--all four
sides?

You might have to right-click the line that represents the Taskbar,
(where you tried to lift its height), click Unlock Taskbar. Then resize
it to a reasonable height, lock it back.

I wonder why you need the Taskbar though.. Press The Windows key or
Ctrl/Esc to see the Start Menu.

Because the system is too busy to allow the windows key to bring it up
before shutdown
