vanished form

FP 2002. I created a form in a table and loaded it, works fine, no problem.
I opened FP to add some info to the page and the form was gone from the FP
"normal" view. It is still in the "preview" pane with the words [frontpage
save results component] and when I preview in browser it is there. I just
can't work on it. I've restarted the PC but no luck getting the form to
show. I have searched the whole page thinking it might have shifted
postition.

Create a new sub web and publish the for to that sub web. Then it won't
interfere with your main web and you can test it out.

I published it to another PC and the results are the same. I can see it in
the code, the preview page, and preview in browser, all with the [frontpage
save results component] but I cannot see the table or the form in the "normal
mode".

If it were powerpoint or Adobe Illustrator I'd say that it was buried under
some other element and I'd need to "bring to front".

Can you switch to Code View and copy and paste all the code into a reply so
we can see what's happening?

Your form action says action="../_derived/nortbots.htm" You need to publish
your form (using HTTP) to a web server that has the FrontPage Server
Extensions installed for it to work correctly. It's not going to work
locally on a disk-based web and FP Preview isn't going to let you see the
form correctly either.

The form will have dashed lines around it. If it's in a table you can use
the tag selectors at the top of the view to find the form and table tags.
or you can use View, Reveal Tags to see where the tags are.
