Validation issue?

Hi all,

It seems that Windows XP is somewhat confused about it's own authenticity -
when I boot up, it informs me that my copy of Windows isn't genuine, but
when I check the authenticity of it at www.microsoft.com/genuine/ it says
it's legit!

What's going on with it? And is there any way to stop this problem
altogether?

If you are convinced that your copy is genuine, and Windows is
convinced it is not...then search Google for 'WGA windows' or go to
http://labnol.blogspot.com/2006/04/workarounds-to-disable-non-genuine.html
..
But only if your version is genuine...
