Validation Failure

Need some information
I purchased a new computer and the manufacture installed a "VLK" version of
Windows XP Pro. After setting all programs up a few days later I find their
is a validation failure. I have purchase and am not using 3 versions of XP, 2
home, 1 (Upgrade)Pro. Can I change the registry product key to the purchased
version? Can this be accomplished by using the program "Jelly Bean"?
According to all I read,Microsoft wants me to purchase a new version and/or
validation tool program. I am trying not to do a strip and clear install. Is
this possible?

Thanks

You would actually need a license for a "Full Version"
of Windows XP Professional in order to change the
bogus VL license to a genuine license.

In order to resolve your non-genuine licensing issue, please visit:
www.microsoft.com/genuine and click on "Validate Windows".
When validation fails, click on the "Get Genuine" button which will
provide information on how to acquire a WGA Kit.

If you paid for an XP license, go back to the place you bought it from and
demand a valid license and installation media, no reputable shop would have
done what they did.
