Validate Option Buttons

Have FPWeb with Forms submitting to MS Access DB -

I have option buttons inside group boxes all with the same name

I have single, stand alone option buttons with unique names separate and
apart from other fields/option buttons

I have single, stand alone option button with unique names inside a group
box (just one button in the group box)

ALL HAVE VALIDATION - DATA REQUIRED selected yet NONE are prompting for an
entry. I have a dropdown selection box that also requires a selection and it
works - but none of the option buttons do - ANY IDEAS what's going on?
