You can do it with message rules, but your computer would have to be left on
with OE running and set to check for mail every ## minutes. As soon as
there was a problem everything would stop.

See if your mail server offers such a service.

Do you really want everyone to know that you will not be
home ?? Great tip for a break-in !
In that case contact your ISP and ask them to set an
automatic reply on your mailbox. You cannot do this from
your own machine.
