v6...Web Pages Cut Off @ Right

People.

After all these years (& an old HP printer)...my frickin' web pages still
cut off on the right (the other day...I even went to "Print Preview" for
the heck of it...& it actually shows the pages with the print cut off at the
right margin!)

I've reduced my left & right margins (File > Page Setup) down to the lowest
possible # (0.25")...but it only helps marginally (pardon the pun.) In the
Printer's various dialogs, there doesn't seem to be an option for "fit to
page" or anything similar.

The printer is an HP 952C...but post an XP install on my machine...it's
running on an old combo driver (950C/952C/959C).('cause I don't think it's
supported by HP any longer; & I seem to remember XP pulling this driver out
of it's own reserve for the hardware install.)

Any solution short of a new printer?

Thanks,

mark4man

damn - I should have followed the link a bit further myself - it's just
instructions on how to install the drivers! :((

There's not a lot you can do - except print in landscape format, as it's a
problem with the page formatting on the website, rather than the printer.

You could try reducing the font size in IE - if you can still read it!

Hi,
If the page is primarily text, you could try a smaller text size- IE> View>
Text size.

If changing the text size doesn't work, try this freeware program from
http://www.visiontech.ltd.uk/software/

Internet Explorer Fitted-Width Printing

Have you ever printed a web page only to find that the right-hand edge is
missing? This is for you. First, this download page will install the
control. After installation, close the browser window and reopen a new one.
You should have a new printer icon with a small 'W' next to it on the
toolbar. Press this to bring up a print dialog which will then print the
page fitted to the width of your paper. Alternatively, hold down the Control
key while pressing the button and you will get a print preview instead.

Note: After downloading this ActiveX Object (into Downloaded Program Files)
you may have to go to IE> View> Toolbars> Customize to find and display the
icon.

Hope this helps,
Don
