uTorrent screwed Vista

for the record - i'm running utorrent 1.7.2 without any problems - also
running avast! which seems to smell any virus

it certainly isn't a problem with utorrent itsself but a program downloaded
with it

Telus is the largest telephone and internet service provider in Canada. The
deal they had until recently was a free Lenovo PC with a 3 year DSL contract.
And while I'm on that topic, DO NOT buy into it. Lenovo systems are crap,
and Telus DSL isn't that great either. I try to tell my clients this, but
some of them prefer to ignore my suggestions and end up with problems like
this one.

No it is not. It is Ma Bell and their internet service Sympatico

Sorry, it's not. Telus covers 5 provinces and both territories (plus
Nunavet), and was as recently as April/May of this year trying to buy
Bell/Sympatico in a hostile takeover bid. You are close though.
Bell/Sympatico ranks second behind Telus and ahead of Rogers/Cogeco. On the
other hand, Bell/Sympatico does have the largest wireless business in the
country, with Telus and Rogers/Cogeco bringing up the rear.
