Can't terminate process

I set uTorrent to run automatically when Windows starts up. Now, after
I've installed PC-cillin (because I have to for university), the
uTorrent process still starts up, I can see it in the task manager, but
the application doesn't. So when I try to physically click on the icon
to start uTorrent, it says that the program is running, but not
responding. Then, I tried to terminate the process by going to task
manager -> processes -> uTorrent -> End Process. It doesn't work. No
matter how many times I do it, uTorrent won't be terminated...
Help?

Try Autoruns from SysInternals:
http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/Autoruns.html
This will show all apps/etc. that load/run when you first boot and
selectively allow you to stop any
that you don't want.
