Utilization calculation challenge

I have a spreadsheet that shows crane usage. I want to calculate tota
hours used by each crane by shift
(i.e. 7:30-15:30 = "Day Shift") etc. I also need to count the number o
shifts for each crane.

Can anyone suggest a formula/approach? A portion of the spreadsheet i
attached with the layout of the result I'm trying to achieve.

How do you want to handle times that span multiple shifts?

Also noticed that in your total hours charged, some values
are rounded up and some are rounded down?

For example:

29 mins is rounded up to 1 hr
65 mins is rounded down to 1 hr

?????
