Hello,
I'm working with USMT 2.6, it make a good job migrating files but I'm a
little confused with the migration of outlook, when I have a combination of
PST files and an Inbox from an Exchange Server and move to a new machine I'm
running UMST and restore all the files ok, but when it try to open outlook it
doesn't open the outlook profile and I need to go to change the properties of
the Exchange Server in the Control Panel/Mail Icon. Later reading some
threads I found that I can run the Save my Office 2003 configuration option
which I run in the source computer and destination computer and seems it is
working fine now. So I need to use both of it USMT and OPS file to migrate my
computer configuration to a new computer???, In what order should I run this
programs ???, What's your recommendation ??
Another question
Can USMT run from a network drive without the need to install in every
computer??
I'm trying an automatized computer deployment and if it need less tasks is
better for me.
Thanks for your ideas and suggestions
