Can anyone tell me how to use an Iomega Zip Drive(F:) as
drive "A" to make an emergency disk under Win2000 Pro.

Thanx

You'll first ahve to confirm that your MB's bios will let you boot from the
zip drive.

Yeah if it is connected via an LTP port I do not think it is possible at all.

I used to use a lot of these drives.

Parallel port ones can never be booted from directly.

Most BIOS won't let you boot from the IDE drives.

The odds are a lot better if you have a SCSI drive.

I have never tried to boot from one of the USB ones - I
had by and large given up on Zip drives by that time, as
had pretty much every IT shop I worked for.
