Using Wordpad

Ok, don't laugh. ;)
Using Wordpad, and I need to draw a line through some text (EX: this _____
except OVER the text). Baffled! Please explain how. TYVM. Jenny
 
Select the text...then:
Format | Font | Strikeout...ok.
