Using Word on multiple monitors

Until recently I was able to open Word documents in separate windows which I
could arrange on both monitors to ease copying and pasting. Now all Word docs
open in the same window and I can only move the program window from monitor
to monitor. The document windows are only available from within this one
window. I could use some help to restore to original funtionality.

I am using Word 2003 (11.6359.6408) SP1

That was exactly it Bob ... 'Windows in Taskbar' in Tools=>Options. I must have unchecked that while tinkering and didn't realise the effect until later. Many thanks. Are you that much of a guru on Publisher as well?

Hi Paul,

Glad that you have it working :) You may want to
post the Publisher question in the Publisher group
(link below) and include the version of Publisher you're
using.
