Using VBA to re-size image?

If you have a picture embedded in a Word document, is there any way to
re-size it using VBA macro code

Yes.

First of all you'll need some way to identify it, then it depends whether it
is "In line with text" (in which case it is an "InlineShape") or has some
other form of wrapping (in which case it is a "Shape"). When you have the
object you can change the Height and/or Width properties - see Help for
further details if you need them.

Although you may well get the answers you want here, if you want more help
on this, your chances are better in a dedicated VBA newsgroup (for example
microsoft.public.word.vba.general).
