Using the Subtotal function

After i have Subtotaled a spreadsheet, then collapsed to show subtotals can I
copy just the subtotal

You can, but you will need to PasteSpecial>Values if you want that exact
value.

Also, you probably need to select the column of Subtotals, then use
Goto|Special to select Visible Cells Only, then hit Copy.
