When you click on the text box and place it into your document, two boxes
appear.
1. A box with "text 56" in it.........(the numbers vary, which I assume has
something to do with the amount of info on the page?) In this box, I can
write anything I want to, which is what I want to do.
2. But what is the second box, which is highlighted in orange, just like
another control and inside, it says "unbound". What is this box for and how
can I eliminate it, as I only want to write some text? (The best I can do is
resize it so it only shows up as a single verticle line, but if I delete it,
the text box also disappears?)

Thank you,
Dave

I think you want to use a label rather than a text box. In your toolbox you
should see a option for Aa, as opposed to the text box, ab|.

Thank you,

Dave
