using symbols in MS word

I am trying to use the X bar symbol in microsoft word. (X bar being an X
with a line above it) it is a common symbol for the arithmetic mean of a
number.
I've looked in all the symbol fonts and also in equation editor but cannot
find it - No ascii code either.
Can you assist.
