Using SaveCred with RunAs

hi

if i use the runas command with /savecred:

* where are the credentials saved?
* will the app run with those credentials if i use other shortcuts to
launch it? or only when i use the runas command again?
* how do i unsave the password? instructions given at the bottom of the
page below did not appear to have any effect-- after deleting the file, using
run as again STILL did not ask me for the password.

note, the article seems to refer to the following path, not the registry. i
don't see any such value in the registry:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Credentials

runas savecred is not a secure solution.
Better to use tools with encrypt password like cpau or runasspc on
www.robotronic.de/runasspcen.html
