Using RIS ro re-install XP clients...

....can i, in some phase of the installation choose what computername the
installed machine would use or is it using the existing computername?

Scenario: We have a lot of users that are on subnet1 in AD forest 1 and we
will re-install then to be a member of Subnet2 in AD forest 2 with a new
computername. The computername will need to come from a list we created that
matchen the old and the new computername with the MAC address as "private
key".

Any ideas how to do this?

I would like to be able to have some kind of script, during the
installation, that sets the computername to a specified computername
depending on what name the computser had before the re-installation started.

Any ideas?
