Hello all,

I would like to use the "rehearse timings" feature in PowerPoint 2003 SP1 to
do slide changes to a song file. I have ripped the song file in WMA format
and placed it on my hard drive. I used the Insert/Movies and Sounds/Sound
from File menu item to associate the sound file with the presentation.
Once I start the "rehearse timings" utility, the presentation goes
full-screen and the music starts as it should. The problem arises when I
click the Next (slide) arrow. The music stops, the slide doesn't advance and
the time meter keeps running?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Right click the icon for the music and in the animation settings set it to
play for xxx number of slides. However, with that said be aware that
rehersed timings (well all timings) are an approximation and you will not be
able to set an exact match between your music and the animations.
