Using parameters in reports that includes a chart

sHi! i wanted to create a report (with report fields) with a bar chart based
on the parameters entered.
the report that i did so far worked, but when i added the bar chart (that
uses the same query as the report fields) ..did not work. i cant seem to
relate the report fields and the chart even though it based on the same
parameter query.
can someone please advice me on this. or if its even possible??

"did not work"? I am having a little trouble seeing this.

Consider getting all parameters/criteria form controls on forms. Your
chart's row source might be a crosstab but we can't tell.

Are you expecting the chart data to be limited to a specific field or fields
in the report's record source?
