Error Displaying Parameter in a chart in a report.

Background: I currently have a simple sales report which displays a bar chart
based on a parameter query(The Chart uses the parameter query, the report has
no queries at all). When you open the report it prompts you to enter in the
Sales person's name. When I enter the name(we will say "Sally Smith" for
reference) and click OK it creates the charts which displays the Sales
persons sales by month.

Problem: I canot get Access to display the supplied parameter "Sally Smith"
either in the chart or on the Report page.

In a standard report without a chart I would just create a text box and
referenceit to the parameter, or bind it to the data source to the query, but
neither seem's to work when using a chart.

Any suggestions would be fantastic.

Thx.

James.

Consider using a text box on a form to enter your parameter. You might also
attempt to bind a text box on your main report to the parameter and then set
the Link Master/Child properties to the text box and appropriate field in
the chart.
