using old computer to back up new computer

I have a older Win 98 computer with enough hard drive to
back up everything on my new Win XP unit. Both models have
USB ports. Would it be possible to back up my entire new
hard drive on the old computer?

At less than $1 a gig, just buy a 2nd hard drive and install it as the slave
drive in your new computer. Purchase Ghost or Drive Image and create images
of your XP disk on your newly purchased disk. Cheaper, better and much
faster.
