Using my Lcd tv as the monitor

Hi
I cant figure out how to use my tv as my monitor.
When looking in Monitor settings i do not have the option to change the
display!?!

Can anyone tell me why i dont have the option to change between different
displys?

First and formost,

Load the video card manufacturers drivers from their website, not the
windows drivers

power on the second monitor (even if it is a TV) and then power up
your computer.

It should be detected and you should be able to see it in your video
properties advanced tab...

If not... as the manufacturer why
