I know people have done this, but how do you set up your I.P.:port as a web
site? Anyone have any idea what I am talking about? Basically, I want to be
my own web host. Nothing special, but just wanted to fool around with it.

My friend had a site which was 'http://<his ip>:<his port>

And it connected to a site he had set up. Any ideas? I would ask him but I
haven't talked to him in a few months. Thanks for your help

assuming you have a router or firewall, you need to open port 80.
